Reliable Home Examination

Why Have a Home Inspection?

Here at All Points Home Inspections, LLC in Boonton, NJ, we understand that the process of home buying can be confusing and sometimes stressful. You need to consider the price, location, and condition of the house itself. Also, you will need to take into consideration the possible problems that could become costly surprises in the future.

A home inspection is an unbiased, licensed professionals' assessment of the condition of the house at the time of the inspection, provided in a professional report on the physical structure and various systems within the house, as per NJ Standards of Practice and ASHI Standards.

Home Inspection Process

The visual inspection of a house starts outside. The duration of the entire inspection will vary according to the size and condition of the house as well as accessibility, but usually takes 2.5 - 3.5 hours for a single family house. Town houses and condos may take less time. We recommend that you accompany the inspector, allowing the opportunity to ask questions.

When the visual inspection is completed, we will inform you of any problems discovered and discuss them with you as soon as possible. Furthermore, recommendations will be made. The written report will be received within 24 hours. The results of the radon test, if performed, will follow within a week of the inspection.

If a radon measurement test is performed, the device must be picked up by the inspector in a minimum of 48 hours from beginning of the test.
